CULTURE CAPITALISER PROGRAMME

Phase One - Setting solid foundations for collective, cohesive action

Phase 1 steps culture capitaliser.png

I work with companies to tailor-make a programme that incorporates 5-steps that help set solid foundations for collective and cohesive action.

Our expectations were by far exceeded with this expertly crafted intervention - comprising both top leadership and full employee workshops. The week ended on such a high note and we achieved amazing insights and shared understanding across our employee group. Thank you Joss, we have made a great start to this journey and look forward to seeing you again!”

Examples of steps 2, 3 and 4 are below.

Baseline Culture Measurement and Understanding

i4cp’s research findings capture the importance of measuring your culture change initiative from the outset - ‘90% of organisations that were unsuccessful in transforming their cultures, did not set clear success measures upfront.’

Measuring culture 101.png

Measuring colleagues’ collective view of what they perceive the current culture to be and what they’d like it to be if they and the organisation were to be at peak performance, is an effective way of helping you to define your desired culture and culture change programme from the outset, and being able to measure its success.

The Culture Values Assessment (CVA) tool does exactly this. It can be tailored per company or team, to take into account current espoused values or perceived cultural ‘norms’. It gives a benchmark measure against which the success of the company or team’s culture change initiatives can be evaluated.

Understanding what sits behind the CVA diagnostics and getting to the root cause of the patterns that have been unearthed by the assessment results is also incorporated into this step.

Purpose, Vision and Values Discovery (or Reset/Test) Workshop with the Culture Values Assessment (CVA) Tool

The purpose of this workshop is to engage the Executive/Senior leadership team over the results of their company-wide Culture Values Assessment (CVA).

During the workshop they’ll define/revisit their purpose (WHY), vision (WHAT) and the values and supporting behaviours (HOW) which they envisage will lead them to success, along with taking a look at Whole System Change.

Team Cohesion Workshop with the Leadership Values Assessment (LVA) 360 Tool or Small Group Assessment (SGA) Tool

The purpose of this workshop is to create team understanding and cohesion and a clear direction of travel, bringing whole system change and strategy together with the work carried out in Workshop One.

Firstly the LVA or SGA is addressed, followed by alignment of the benchmarking of the strategy and culture work, together with the tangible approach to whole system change and initial discovery work around phase two.

1 day workshop (and if you choose the LVA option, a 2 hour individual coaching session per leader will be carried out prior to workshop.)
